Chemical peels are a solution to improve and smooth the texture of the skin by removing its damaged outer layer. At Pine and River, we offer two types of chemical peels: one that involves peeling for deeper exfoliation, and another that acts more like a facial, providing a gentler treatment without visible peeling. Both options help rejuvenate your skin, leaving it refreshed and revitalized.
This peel, featuring salicylic acid, TCA, and lactic acid, offers epidermal renewal and dermal stimulation for all skin types and colors. It supports skin barrier function, enhances repair and renewal, and provides antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. Ideal for treating acne, laxity, sun damage, uneven tone and texture, and fine lines and wrinkles.
A relaxing facial that uses all ZO products and a gentle peel to exfoliate and revive skin. There is no downtime and it’s good for all skin types. It can help with fine lines, dullness, rough or dry texture, and brightens the skin. It can also be further customized to target acne and oil production, redness, fine lines, or dull skin tone.
Dermaplaning is a great add-on for a chemical peel because it removes dead skin cells and peach fuzz from the skin’s surface, allowing the chemical peel to penetrate deeper and work more effectively, resulting in a more even and noticeable improvement in skin texture and tone, with better absorption of the peel’s active ingredients
Chemical peels can restore skin luminosity, calm redness, minimize hyperpigmentation (dark spots), improve texture, reduce acne, improve acne scarring, decrease the appearance of large pores, and improve fine lines.
What Can I Expect After a Chemical Peel?
Chemical peels typically take 30-60 minutes to complete, and effects vary depending on the treatment. The ZO Glow Up Facial is excellent for first-time peel patients as it doesn’t require any downtime and can be done as often as once a week.
However, as it is a more powerful treatment, the ZO 3-Step Peel often results in 5-7 days of peeling, redness, and tightness. This treatment can be repeated every four weeks until desired results are achieved.
